At 10.27pm on Tuesday 5th December 1916 a terrible explosion occurred at the Barnbow Munitions Factory in Leeds, Yorkshire, killing 35 brave women and girls.
A commemoration was held today in Manston Park to honour the Barnbow Lasses.
