Real life internee gives Jacob's War the thumbs up!

In researching the subject of child internment for Jacob's War I corresponded with and interviewed a number of people who were amongst the hundreds of children interned in 1940 so it was really wonderful to hear what Eva Holmes had to say about the book this morning.

Thank you so  much for sending me a copy of Jacob's war. I read it with great interest- it evoked so many memories....
I hope my four grandchildren will read it and understand a little  more of their background and the experiences of  my generation.
I do hope it sells well; it would make a good film.
