Happy New Year everyone! 

2013 was an excellent year for me as a writer. After a long wait Jacob's War was published to a really great reception. I finished the fourth 'Noah' book, which should be out very soon. I have finished Sam Marsh and the Lunar War draft one. And a new novel with the working title 'The boy with two names' is almost complete!

 

In 2013 I also visited more schools than ever before, I did five radio interviews and took part in the amazing Manx Lit Fest!

 

But I'm determined that 2014 is going to be even bigger and better! A number of schools have already made bookings for author visits as has the Ryedale Literary Festival for the autumn. Noah Ramsbottom and the Runaway Sphinx is due to be published very soon and I'm hoping to get the research for a new book underway! 

 

I would like to say a huge 'thank you' to everyone who has supported my work in 2013 and I look forward to meeting loads more of you this year!

A big thank you to Maxine, Linsey and all the staff at Heasandford Primary School for an excellent day. I really enjoyed working with Year 6 children doing drama workshops based on Jacob's War.
